I looked for a decent shredder at an affordable price for weeks. We burned ours out shredding end of the year data. So far this one has not let us down. I have a commercial account, (supposedly get great discounts), with Office Depot. The price from Amazon beat them by $125.00. Needless to say, I didn't make friends with OD when I told my account manager. I will continue to do business with Amazon, they have always given the best price and great quality.

I needed a shredder that could work en Masse. This thing is a POWERHOUSE. It shreds fast and works hard. I wish it cross-shredded though, but it does make completely cut small peices. I am very happy

Product was purchased in November 2009 for a small office. Shredder has worked very well. Shredder is quite. Very capable of taking 14-16 sheets 20 lb paper at time. No problem cutting standard staples, CD's, or plastic cards. At shredding capacity of 18 sheets per pass it will give twenty minutes of continuous use before stopping to cool the motor. I have had and shopped around for shredders and Fellowes is worth the extra the $$$ for capability and durability.
