Aurora AS1018CD Description
The Aurora AS1018CD dual cross cut shredder ensures that all the confidential information is shredded safely and is kept out of the reach of the criminals. It has a 9 inch wide slot for front feed and is capable of shredding credit cards as well. It has the capacity to take in 10 paper sheets in every pass. It has 3.5 gallon bin and has a dimension of 16.1 x 9.5 x 14 inch(HxWxL). The total weight of the machine is 14.5lbs and is black in color. It also features a safety interlock.

I'VE Purchased 2 shredders Prior To This One, Not This BRAND/MODEL And I've Got To Say This Aurora IS Much Faster,Much Quieter AND IS THE BEST OF THE 3 BY FAR! Also This shredder is really rugid and is really powerful. I've shredded lots of CDs/Credit Cards & Lots of mailers/flyers and lots of 8 to 10 sheet folded envelope junk mail witithout even opening them... Not real sure what I wanted before I purchased this shredder I am very satisfied with the performance. The saftey features are good, seems to do a good job even with credit cards. So far I've shredded about 10 years of papers. It has'nt gotten jammed or over heated.

Excellent size, powerful motor. Undocumented feature I encounter is that the unit when working for about 50 continues minutes will shut off. It appears to be done to prevent motor burn out.

So far this product has performed well, sounds good and strong when shredding, no bogging down or struggling. No jams but haven't done a CD or credit card yet. Responds immediately when on auto for shredding, so far a good buy.
