Fellowes 32197 Description
This innovative product with the SafeSense technology is peculiarly good for frequent shredding needs and is capable of delivering high performance in small office and home office areas. The paper gets reduces to confetti particles of high security and the particles have a size of 5/32x1-1/2 inch. Capable of shredding 17 sheets in a single pass, the machine can be fully operative for 50-100 times a day. It has a 9 inch wide front feed which means that it can gulp up a standard legal sized document. Even CDs can be shredded in designated slots. Loaded with durable steel clutters, it can accept small paper clips, credit cards and staples. It is loaded with auto start-stop functionality and the system stops completely and continues to give signals in case of paper jam. It also stops in case the waste bin is full. It has a 10 gallons fully enclosed waste basket and there is built in casters for ease of portability. It comes with a 7 years warranty tag!

Summary: Just what the Dr ordered!
 
I am so pleased with my new shredder.
Like others who've reviewed, I've had other shredders that didn't hold a candle to this one.

Mine arrived today and I've already put it to the test.

It really DOES shred 12 sheets
and I've not had one jam yet

Thanks amazon for quick and super saver shipping and thanks Fellowes for a quality machine.

I hope I'm this happy in 6 mo!

I've had it with cheap shredders. This replaced a $90 unit from Staples, and what a piece of junk that one was. This one seems more up to the task. It's reasonably quiet (but not silent by any measure) and chews up paper quickly.

I Love this machine. A lot bigger than I thought, but that just means that I don't have to discard the shreds as frequently. Just recently purchased it, but I haven't had a jam yet and I've used it continuously (over hour at one time). I gave it four stars instead of five because nothing is perfect.

Summary: Great shredder!
 
This shredder is a workhorse! I shredded our company's entire fiscal year's worth of stuff without a hitch. The only reason I didn't give it the 5th star is because the shredded paper seems to get stuck up under the shredder itself and I've had to go in and pull paper out. I guess if you only shredded a few pages at a time this wouldn't be an issue. But shredding hundreds of pages at a time, it comes into play. I would absolutely recommend this shredder to anyone!
