Summary: powerful for the price
 
I needed a moderate-duty shredder for a not-outrageous price. This fit the bill very well. Much more powerful than my old shredder, which wheezed when given more than 5 sheets. It's loud, but I'm not aware of a shredder that isn't.

Excellent heavy duty shredder with large basket to catch a lot of shredding. Easy to operate and handle on the motor,etc makes it easy to lift the operating unit off of the basket to empty it. Exceeded all of my expectations for a replacment shredder that I had.

The shredding unit itself is awesome. I would have given it all 5 stars had the container been larger and sturdier. The shredder is pretty powerful and has very little problem cutting through staples, creditcards, or files. It also shuts off when the shedder is full which prevents a big mess.

Summary: Great shredder can handle junk mail without clogging
 
We bought this to replace a cheaper model shredder that jammed all the time, and this fits the bill. I can feed junk mail without unfolding and it handles it with no problems. We debated if we need to buy a more expensive shredder (Fellows no-jam models were well-reviewed), but unless you're using in an office, don't waste the money. This does the job well!
