Aurora AS890C Description
This Aurora AS890C is a cross cut shredder and can accommodate 8 sheets of paper at a time. This is a heavy duty shredder that also has an appetite for staples, paper clips and credit cards. The machine has an 8.7 inch throat and featured with a heavy load basket that can accommodate 125 sheets of shredded paper. It also features auto start, overheat/overload protection and manual reverse facility for jam clearance.

Summary: Works flawlessly
 
I can shove full envelopes worth of junk mail in this thing with no problem. I also appreciate the window on the basket so I can tell if it's full. Also, the price can't be beat. If you're looking for a basic cross-cut shredder, this one is awesome.

The shredder does a good job. I was dissapointed that it will only take 3 sheets without getting jammed instead of the 8 I expected. I have had to take it apart and remove the jammed paper several times. I know now not to put in too many at one time. It's sturdy and compact just not exactly what I expected.

It is a compact shredder that serves my purpose of junk mail and other things I don't want to just throw away. It is fast and efficient. It is a sleek, black color and doesn't take up much room. I would definitely recommend this shredder for the cost and quality of this product.

This 8-paper small shredder seems to slow down slightly with more than 6 pieces of regular paper and it is NOISY. But it works and so far has not jammed. Just wish it came with a bigger basket (it has to fit tightly on top of its attached basket in order to operate). Big shred jobs require a lot of basket-emptying (and cross-cut small bits of shredded paper is messy). Would not recommend it for anything more than home use for small jobs.
