Fellowes PS-77Cs is loaded with the patent-pending innovative technology with an active sensor that stops shredding as soon as the paper entry is touched. It is engineered for moderate shredding and best suited for small office and home office needs. It is designed to shred credit cards, small paper clips, staple and CDs (in designated slot). Cheaply priced, this machine in made for high performance and reduces the paper into confetti particles. The front feed in 9 inches wide and has a quiet performance that is best suited for office use. It features electronic auto-start and auto-stop and thereby helps easy shredding. Shredding stops automatically in case of a paper jam. It can take 12 sheets per pass and is capable of operating 25-50 times a day. It has a 7 gallons waste basket and has a clear window to see through! The added advantage is the sheet capacity gauge which prevents jamming due to paper. If a jam occurs, the shredder shuts down and indicates the same to the operator.

Summary: Power to Shred!
 
Well, I needed a shredder. Not a very "sexy" buy, but still important to protect your identity and privacy. And if you're going to spend money on something that's not flashy, you want the best buy you can find.

And I believe this is it.

I read all the other reviews (which were very helpful) and decided that this was the one. And I'm glad I did!

This shredder does it all - confetti-cut paper, credit cards, and cds. The only downside is that it heats up quickly, so it might take a little more time to accomplish your shred pile than you would like. But if you pace yourself, you won't have a problem.

I also recommend buying the Fellows Lubricant Oil - it will prolong the life of your shredder and keep it from jamming.

This is a great product and a great price. I highly recommend it!

Summary: Finding a durable printer
 
My wife and I have a home office and use a shredder for some personal and business duties. We have owned several Fellowes printers. These all performed well and were well-reviewed, but usually give out after a year or two. I purchased this printer as it's a medium-duty printer rather than the light-duty models we have used in the past. The heavy duty ones were considerably more expensive and I didn't feel our usage required heavy-duty equipment. So far, the machine has performed well. It seems both quieter and more powerful than prior models we've owned. I cannot address durability as yet, but I am hopeful, based on the performance so far, that we will have this machine for at least 3-4 years. So, I give the shredder 4 stars with hopes it will eventually prove to be a 5-star model.

Summary: Does everything it says
 
I purchased a couple shredders at a big box store over the last few years and they fell apart. This shredder has perfomed as advertised. Its heavy and strong just like I wanted. Its alot more quiet than the smaller shredders I owned too.

I like this shredder. It works, it works, and it works. I keep shredding and it won't stop on me. I like that it looks very appealing and it's a little sherman tank.
