Aurora AS810SD Description
The Aurora AS810SD strip cut paper shredder is the ultimate home device designed to ensure protection against identity theft. The shredder is capable of consuming eight sheets at a time and cut it into strips of 0.25 inch. The shredding speed of the machine is 9.7 feet per minute. It can cut through CDs and credit cards and comes with a basket and a three mode safety switch which keeps the fingers safe. The shredder's throat width is 8.75 inches. The wastebasket has a capacity of 4.5 gallons or in short it can accommodate 100 sheets of shredded papers.

Summary: Not bad for the price
 
This shredder is not bad for the price. It does not just shred the paper but CD and credit card as well. The only 2 things are that it is a bit noisy and do not let the container too full, or the paper will stuck. Otherwise, it's a nice cheap shredder.

My first surprise was the small size of the basket. I have no reason to believe the published dimensions are incorrect but, I didn't compare them to others -- caveat emptor, my fault.

But it hardly matters, because the blades got dull in just a few months. The manufacturer rates it to cut 8 sheets at a time. I'm sure I never tried to put more than that through the machine (I've been careful, after having stripped the plastic gears on my previous shredder), but now it will only shred reliably if I feed it one page at a time.

My desktop shredder broke. I purchased a larger one because I was tired of emptying it everytime I used it.
Aurora Shredder is everything I hoped for. It's quiet, shreds about 6-8 pages, is quiet and runs perfectly.
I also purchased the Fellowes Shredder oil to lubricate it monthly to keep it running well. I'd definitely would recommend it to others.
