Summary: Got what I paid for...
 
Inexpensive and does the job - shreds my junk mail. Not into unidentifiable strips but easily discardable strips. The teeth are surprisingly strong - paper never gets stuck. The machine never overheats (a problem I had with other brands/models). Happy for what I paid.

Summary: Delivers for the price
 
I purchased this shredder about a year ago as a replacement for the type that did not have its own basket. I agree with the other reviewers that the basket fills up too quickly but for the price it is reasonable. However, it jams very easily when shredding credit cards either real or the plastic advertisment type. Last night it jammed so badly I can't get it fixed so I will upgrade to a little better model. Overall, I was not disapponted with this model for the money and the convenience of having an attached basket.

I wanted a shredder to take care of all the junk email from credit card companies. This shredder takes care of those. I also use it for bank statements and the like. If you are going to do a lot of shredding you might find this model's basket is on the small side. Other than that it worked fine for me.

Its like a miracle, you put six pieces of paper in it and it turns them into unreadable strips. Its like some kind of miracle or something. I put every piece of paper I have into the machine!
