This shredder was a steal for me. It looks 10x better than the shredders you see at Staples and Best Buy and works just as well. When I first got it, I had a lot of shredding to do and it shut itself down after about 15 min of continuous shredding. Once it cooled down it started up great and handles daily shredding like a champ. I live in a very small place and don't have anywhere to hide away my shredder- It's modern style, and glossy white finish doesn't stick out like an eyesore in my living room.

This product also comes in black, I wish I could of found it available for the same price here!
I tested the product. 1 sheet, 2 sheet, 3 sheet, 4 sheet, 5 sheet, than I knew better.
As ANY shredder goes, especially for this price, it will shred 7 sheets, but I personally wouldn't recommend it. This is not a big office shredder. Definitely for home use, or a small office. 3 sheets shred the best.
It has a child safety bar, so no fingers can get down in there, thats very nice. Also, when the shredder is lifted from the bin, it automatically powers off. Great safety feature for the kids also.
Shreds well. When you can see the paper in the window, empty it. It'll start to pile up and get backwinded. You could push it down too, whatever.
Makes nice little shreds, I intend on using them for hamster bedding.
Most importantly, to me... It is not only functional, but aesthetically pleasing. As a woman this is a high priority to me as silly as it seems. I didn't want some ugly office supply sitting around my house.
I guess the only con is that it shreds 3 pieces best, but WILL shred 7 papers. They never said how well it would shred 7 pages, I expected this though.
That and you have to check the basket when it gets full to make sure it isn't backtracking... also something I expected.
OH - The forward and backward button are a little mixed up. They mean the opposite, kind of. When it says forward it means the way the arrows going. You'll see if you buy it.
Great product, I like it.

Nice looking little product for the home office, but the motor breaks after only a few months of light use.

Summary: Looks nice, Shreds poorly |

I purchased this shredder a little over a year ago, and it is already broken. The sensor no longer works, so when I turn on the machine the shred blades start running without any paper in the slot. The rumors are true too about it not handling more than two or three pieces of paper. It is also really REALLY loud. It is so loud that I have to shut the door to my office, so as not to disturb the whole house. I have used shred oil extensively, so I've never neglected the blades. I will keep it because it does the job. It just doesn't do the job that great. Then again, in my experience, what shredder actually works great through the years?! I've yet to find one, and this one is certainly NO exception. Unfortunately, this product is not recommended. :-(
